I was looking forward to my herbal compress massage last Friday only to arrive to the venue and be told that the lady who was to do the massage was on holiday and the current person massaging me had not checked what type of massage I booked and the herb infusion would take them an hour to prepare. At which point I was offered an aroma massage with essential oils. Being an aromatherapist myself, I was horrified of the fact that 1:the oils were poor quality and 2: most of the oils proposed where photo toxic therefore not really ideal to use on a sunny hot day. I mentioned that to the lady and she laughs saying she does not know anything about the oils and she does not want to study as its too expensive. I,however, gave the massage a go only with a carrier oil but the oil they used was cheap sunflower oil. I had to shower the minute I got home as they used way too much of it and I felt like a tuna in a can of oil! The lady had an apprentice with her who massaged my legs and they kept talking in their native language the whole time and felt the place was not clean. At the end of the massage, I felt much more tense then when I walked in and my back has been in pain for 2 days now. I love trying new things and I do not give bad reviews unless it is really a disaster!
The first time I came here everything was amazing. This time it was really late in the day and I think the lady was tired. It was still good but it was really noisy in the salon. It is a really nice place though, just obviously an off day
Great service and very friendly. I booked my wife in for a Thai massage for her birthday as she had been stressed and suffering shoulder problems, she came back saying they had magic hands and cured the very issues. Enticed by this, I booked myself a strong Thai massage to alleviate my aching back and shoulders. I was not disappointed; indeed, they do have magic hands, as well as thorough knowledge of problem points and muscle alignments. Fantastic and thoroughly recommended.
