I had a Shellac mani & pedi performed by two ladies simultaneously. The place looks nice, shiny and clean. Everything went smoothly and I felt treated well by friendly staff. However upon leaving the salon and taking a closer look at the coating I realised it was far from perfect, with some nail tips not 'sealed' and the colour getting right to the sides of the nail where it would slightly fluff up, the bottom of each nail not being painted clearly enough too. This results in a not-so-tidy look, and I'm concerned about what my nails would look like in two weeks time. Probably the issues with my mani could be avoided had it been done at the table, under the light, and not while in a pedi chair. I can even see that my pedi coating has some flaws, which is obviously harder to spot. I might return but will be explicitly particular about the quality I expect of my coating.
