I had an eyebrow and upper lip wax and have rated this five stars. My therapist was very thorough and dos a great job. Will definitely recommend.
This was my third visit to Vogue spa. The past couple of times I have been were amazing, although I now realise that this is down to the therapist. This place looks like your average reasonably priced thai massage place, but the previous 2 treatment I had were excellent quality - Elina was brilliant. Unfortunately this time the treatment was just that of an average thai massage place. I got what I paid for. The girl was nice enough. I booked in at 10 am and she came into the room a bit flustered - telling me she had only just arrived. Anyway, she proceeded to cover me in way too much oil and was quite heavy handed. After I told her the pressure was too much, she let up a bit. She then went to switch some kind of electrical appliance on which blew at the switch - not her fault at all, she left the room for a bit and had a loud conversation with her colleague, then came back. Kind of unsettling but not the end of the world. The rest of the massage was OK - she had some good massage techniques but I got the feeling that she was in a rush, or didn't want to be there. I did feel like just calling it quits half way through but since it was only a half hour treatment I just stuck it out.
I was really looking forward to trying out all of the treatments available here, and if I do I think I will request the therapist I had before as it makes SO much difference.
Also - every time I visit the receptionist asked me if this is my first time...not a major thing but it would be nice if they could at least have a note of your previous appointments!
I think Vogue spa is worth a visit - because the wahanda prices are so cheap. Hopefully you get an experienced therapist who wants to do a nice treatment for you.
Great experience - just what I needed to relax - I booked 90 minutes and could have happily stayed even longer! I will happily return soon.
I'm so pleased that this spa is just around the corner from me. Had an amazing couple of massages with Elina and an Elemis facial too which was brilliant. All the staff are really lovely. Prices are INCREDIBLE...with wahanda discounts and 15% off in June. Really looking forward to trying the other treatments. Reluctant to write a good review as I want to keep this place a secret but the treatments are so good I had to share!
Had a 30 minutes Thai aromatherapy massage. I was very tight across the neck and shoulders and this felt much better afterwards. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Will book 60 mins next time. Recommended.
