I have to say, in all my years of being waxed, this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. The place itself is underwhelming, unclean, cramped and not at all conducive to a relaxing treatment. The staff were nice enough but that can only take you so far. I received no modesty towel, the therapist stayed in the room with me as I undressed which was uncomfortable and awkward. She had to leave several times, the door right in front of me as I was undressed, mid-treatment. I had a full leg and that was average. When it came time for the Brazilian (I normally go for Hollywood but decided to try something different), she said she would "try" to make a triangle shape... You're a professional.. you shouldn't have to try, you should know. It had been a bit longer than normal since my last wax but every other place I've been to, if needed, trims before waxing. This was not the case, then she proceeded to complain about the length of the hair. I am aware of how it works, but this was so painful. I've never suffered so much as I did during this waxing. I was left with burns, raw skin and in excruciating pain because she went over the skin several times (never even asked if the temperature was ok) and at several instances the strips stuck to my skin. The end result was abysmal, the "triangle" was not even a triangle, there are still patches where she missed, complete zones unwaxed. I was actually shaking during and traumatised afterwards. Then I was expected to apply the cooling gel/lotion myself! Very unhygienic! In terms of value, I normally pay £39 for a full leg, underarm, hollywood and eyebrow threading at my regular place and this place was £35 for a full leg and a Brazilian (and a terrible one at that), so to say that it's not worth it is an understatement. I went here out of necessity because my regular therapist is on maternity leave but I will never be returning to this place ever again!
