I had an ultrasonic facial, which left my skin feeling fresh and smooth. I've been having regular breakouts recently and my skin felt very clogged. The treatment helped clear my spots and was a very relaxing experience. The woman that did my treatment was very friendly, gentle and knowledgable. The owner of Vitalia is also lovely and gave me a nice cup of green tea at the end of my treatment. I will definitely be back - it's great value for money!

The beauty therapist was very welcoming and friendly but the treatment itself was terrible. Whilst having it done it seemed ok but then when I tried to open my eyes it burned and my eyes streamed. She advised me to sit in front of an oscillating fan in the treatment room for as long as possible and said it was normal for my eyes to react like that and that the fan would dry the glue. I sat for about 20 minutes in the end until I could just about manage to keep my eyes open, as I needed to get back to work. It then took another 2-3 hours once I was back at work for them to settle down. They were constantly stinging, were inflamed and streaming.
Coupled with the disappointment of the treatment at the time the eyelashes themselves did not stay in well (after all the pain and discomfort!) I didn't wash around my eyes or wear make-up for at least 24 hours afterwards but they still began falling out and 48 hours later after I'd been to a wedding and used a make up wipe to take my eye make up off they all came out.
I have had this treatment before elsewhere so don't think any of this was to do with an allergy. I've certainly never had discomfort from this treatment before or been told to sit in front of a fan! Also when I've had these done before they have lasted much longer.
Overall extremely disappointed and would not visit this salon again. Clearly they are using the wrong method or materials.
Using Treatwell however was very good and I would book other treatments using the site.
