As always my regular deep tissue massage with Nikki was great, can't say this type of massage is totally relaxing but its exactly what my aching body always needs - never anything but brilliant!
One of the best massages I've ever had! I can't remember the name of the lady who did the deep tissue massage; Nikki maybe? She was very very good. Very strong and firm and balanced on both sides of the body. Good people skills too. The place was very nice too set across 3 stories. The rooms were clean with a good temperature. The ambience was good. I would most definitely go back here again and would recommend it to others.
I love this place - have been going for some years now and wouldn't consider anywhere else. All the people that work there are friendly and very good at what they do!
I must admit to being a little disappointed in the experience at Vita Skin Spa. Don't get me wrong, the staff were, on the whole, reasonably polite (apart from one lady who didn't take kindly to us taking the stairs rather carefully with slippery feet following the treatment). The two therapists who actually did the pedicure for myself and my friend were polite, however we both had a sense that they were rushed (the hour long pedicure lasted 50 minutes). We sat in reasonably comfortable chairs but whilst she was given a footstool, my feet were mostly just flat on the floor. We both felt uncomfortable that the therapists were sat (and at times) lying on the hard floor in order to carry out the various processes. The spa itself seemed clean although a small table outside the treatment room was covered in coffee "rings" and at least one of the towels used was badly frayed and had definitely seen better days. Being a relative newcomer to the delights of a pedicure, I am also disappointed that the polish on my nails already looks as though it has been there for a couple of weeks as much of the cuticle is visible and the "massage" was really just rubbing in lotion to the lower leg. Overall the experience wasn't a patch on the previous treatment I had at a well-known and less expensive provider. Having wanted to support a local business I booked this one as a birthday treat for my friend but I'm afraid to say, we were both disappointed and I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

Very courteous, professional and friendly staff; I could not fault them. Although I arrived early I didn't have to wait. I do not like going to beauty salons and spas because I really dislike the atmosphere and the whole concept of it, frankly, but they made me feel at ease and welcome. I only went there because I had to attend a wedding and my nails were in a terrible state, so I needed a professional file and colour polish done. Unfortunately the way the nail polish was applied was very very thick and even after half an hour it hadn't dried. After about an hour I got something out of my bag and half of the nail varnish on two of my fingers had completely come off. There were fingerprints and other marks and scratches on all the other nails as well. I had to take the nail polish all off and put it on again myself, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid.
