Visited with my daughter, we had a lovely day. The staff at the spa were very attentive and it had a good atmosphere. The treatments were nice but if I am honest I have had better facials but still very relaxing. We read the reviews before hand so we're expecting the dress code at lunch. We pre booked lunch and were advised there might be a wait so we're expecting that too.
Went on a restore spa day with 3 friends, the staff were lovely very personable and the facial & back massage were great, however we went on a Saturday and the pool was full of families and children having swimming lessons. And you were only allowed in the jacuzzi when the bubbles were on and were told to vacate it for the 6 minutes it stops bubbling whilst it cleans itself. Which we found annoying and rather bizarre. Light lunch was upstairs in the pub lovely food but we had get changed out of robes and get dressed which was a nuisance.
Pleasant experience, however having paid full price for our 2 x 25 minute treatments, I felt they were short and we were getting the same as people producing vouchers. This was specifically the case with my facial.
Been going here every month for approx last 3 years and normally request the same therapist. today had a different lady called Claire who was superb. Before leaving today, booked next months visit and specifically requested Claire again ... Very professional, came away so relaxed, couldn't stop yawning! I visit each time with my mum, who again had a fantastic treatment with Natalie. Wish I could do it every weekend !
In would go again getting to be a seasoned spa over since my wife and I sold out little bakery and enjoying every minute of it before we need to return to the real world and work again . thank you to all staff members we enjoyed our time here.
