Really welcoming, the staff were nice and the atmosphere was really chilled and relaxing. Had such a good birthday treat
I treated my daughter in law to a spa day for her birthday, we both had extra treatments so paid £100 each. we went early to have a swim and use the steam room, we had been informed the day before that the sauna was out of use. When we got to the pool it was full of children, so we couldn't swim, and there was nothing relaxing about lying on the recliners by the pool either. We went to the relaxation room to wait for our treatments, but it was messy and we had to make the beds before we could lie down. A lady came in and said help your self to tea and coffee, but there was no hot water, no cups, no spoons and no coffee, just a box of teabags..... We had afternoon tea included in our package and were expecting it to be taken in the spa but it was served in the bar upstairs so we had to get dressed and join the football fans. To cap it all off the scones were brought to us with artificial squirty cream :(
Great day had by both of us. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Plenty of room to roam around and chill out. Lunch was really nice and we made use of the Starbucks as well. The gym was great, lots of room and plenty of equipment. The pool area was nice and the spa therapy rooms and relaxation room was very cosy and relaxing. All in all we had a great day and would return.
