The lady knew I was nervous and talked to me throughout. Its not a pain free process but it wasn't terrible and I would go back. Very happy with the results (2nd time waxer)
Let me begin by saying that this place is a complete and utter mess. It is still under construction, smells of paint and other toxic materials and is dusty and unsanitary. Not that long ago I have signed up for a course of 3D- lipo treatments - of course it was advertised to me as the most technologically advanced treatment on the market with guaranteed results. Well clearly there were no results, at all. I just feel that I have wasted numerous hours of my life as well as a small fortune that I have been charged for this "miracle treatment".
I decided to try out B & K based on the strength of the reviews on here and after my experience there i'm honestly baffled at how anyone could give this place a good review.
I went in for a 'Classic Massage" and I can only describe it as one of the weirdest and least effective massages i've ever had. To start things off the therapist didnt ask me if I had any areas to work on, or when she started if I was comfortable with the pressure (i wasnt, it was like being gently stroked with waay way too much oil, and i'm not even someone who likes very firm pressure but this was just doing nothing) - despite not being asked, i did tell the therapist what areas to work on and to increase the pressure, both these requests seemed to ignored. This is where i'd also point out that there seemed to be a very large language gap..
It was meant to be a full body massage but she entirely left out my feet. Her attempt at my back was just strange, it felt like someone pretending to a do swedish massage, it was beyond ineffective.
The ambiance, well there wasn't any. upon entering the place smelled like drying paint, the little décor there was is tacky. Downstairs in the massage room, the light was too bright and music was at best bizarre and at worst annoying - at one point a techno panpipe remix of 'Popcorn" came on - I cant tell you how inappropriate it was for "relaxing" to.
I complained about treatment to both the masseur and the girl behind the front desk, neither of whom seemed to have any idea what to do about my compliant. The masseur actually had the gall to then ask £60 for the treatment - again massive language barrier, i'm not even sure she or the receptionist understood what i'd said.
I will not be back here again nor would I ever recommend it. -VERY disappointing.
