Today I went to get 3D eyelash extensions. It was my first time at Viauty however I’ve had eyelash extensions done before at a different salon.
Unfortunately I didn’t find the experience as well as expected. I had read so many good reviews prior to booking this appointment. When I came in - the beautician didn’t introduce herself - i assumed she was Christina, and asked her so. instead, she just asked me to follow her downstairs to the therapy room.
When she was doing my lashes - my eye lids were moving (initially I found it hard to relax my eyes as I was getting used to the stinging sensation from the glue) however I found Christina to be quite rude telling me to “just relax”
Half way through the session - she left the room saying that she will be a minute
I didn’t know why however she came back >10mins and went back to doing my lashes without saying sorry about that ...etc. I didn’t mind if she had to nip out quickly - I just would’ve preferred if she could’ve communicated well with me - as during the wait I thought something went wrong.
Lastly, I felt so rushed, after the lashes were done - I just wanted a moment to wipe my face (I was tearing up due to the glue) however I wasn’t given an opportunity to wait / take my time. I left the salon by 3.45 pm even though my appointment was till 4.15pm - so I didn’t understand why I was rushed.
I will admit my lashes (end result) looked good.
