Venwood Hair and Beauty is the brainchild of Brooke Venables, a third-generation hair wiz from down under who brings a wicked sense of humour, infectious laughter, keen intuition, and years of finely tuned expertise to each and every client appointment. She cut her teeth in the late 90’s with a four-year apprenticeship in her native Australia, packed her bags for London at the start of the millennium and never looked back. Stints working with top stylists and models in Los Angeles, at London fashion week, as well as various editorial and television shoots, have all helped to form Brooke’s signature approach to hair. She has spent the past 20 years building a fiercely loyal clientele in Richmond and realised her dream of owning her own salon here in 2019. Brooke not only has a passion for hair, but also strives to support and nurture the next generation of beauty talent. In turn she has filled her shop with some of the most in-demand technicians, colourists and stylists around. The result is the buzzing, witty, creative, and undeniably cool space that is Venwood

Shannen Hairstylist  Shannen joined the Venwood Hair and Beauty team shortly after our opening in 2019, and we don't know how we ever got on without her! She has over 5 years of industry experience and an ever-growing fan-base at the salon, where she can be counted on for cool cuts and creative colour. Hair Artist and Skincare Specialist Helen Ray brings us over 23 years of know-how in both hair and beauty. From her residency at Venwood, she offers up sharp cuts and sleek blow-dries, as well as deceptively natural-looking colour, which she has honed to a sun-kissed-looking perfection over the years. A true all-rounder, Helen has also dipped her toes in the fashion world, with stints as both a personal shopper and a stylist for print and digital magazines. She has served as a consultant for the past 10 years for various beauty and skincare brands, and has undergone formal training in facial massage and skincare. With five years of experience in the hair industry, Emily is always game to try the latest, coolest techniques in both cut and colour.
