After having a terrible experience waxing at my nearby salon, my sister found Val nails waxing , and saw nothing but rave reviews so we decided to give them a try. Val couldn't have been any more lovely; she treated me so kindly and the underarm wax ( she used lycon wax) didn't hurt in the slightest. She explained what she was doing every step of the way, and answered all of my questions. I'm so happy with the results! There was no pain during or after - the first time I was in so much pain after having my arms waxed - and it was reasonably priced! I'll definitely be going to Val in the future. Place so cleaning .
I absolutely love my pedicure to be done at this place, but only by Val , I really like her work and the attitude towards her clients. The rest of the staff seems to be very friendly too! Thank you!
Great full treatment- lovely lady- really kind and thorough. So clean and well looked after.
Rather run down as a place and didn't seem that clean - stained towels, chairs etc. Had eyebrows waxed but not sure I would have wanted to undress and lie on the bed as couldn't be sure the paper had been changed! Smiley lady did my manicure and was meticulous with cuticles but her polish application didn't seem great - did lots of coats in quick succession - and left bumps on nails. Took longer than advertised and I had to leave quickly without a chance to dry my nails. My lady didn't speak English and when another customer asked for the same colour she had done on someone else that morning, another staff member insisted it was a colour she showed her and when the customer asked to check with my lady, the other one snapped that she couldn't ask her because she didn't speak English. Also waxing prices on the wall didn't match up to what I was charged on treatwell which was disappointing.
