This was my first ever time getting acrylic nails and a pedicure for a holiday. The staff were very disorientated and only 1 out of 4 could actually communicate in English with me. I wasn’t really able to communicate what I wanted precisely. I had paid for acrylic extensions and I’d watched videos to see what it was like. Here they first glued a whole false nail on me, then shaped it, then dipped it into some acrylic powder then they worked on my cuticles without cleaning my hands or anything - which seems like the wrong order? I’m not sure I got what I was paying for as I assumed acrylic meant forms or tips. I could be wrong, but it didn’t feel good at all. It was actually quite painful as the filing burned my skin and made me bleed. There wasn’t that much attention to customer care. The pedicure, on the other hand, performed by Camilla was exceptional, she made me feel comfortable and was really attentive to detail. She was getting rushed as another client was waiting as my acrylic extensions took almost 2 hours to complete. For a first time experience, I didn’t enjoy my time and didn’t feel ‘pampered’ - the pedicure is an exception. I’m not sure if I would recommend this place as of yet. Maybe when the staff gain more experience it might change.
