The staff were very friendly but the salon was freezing cold. They did a great job removing my gel extensions but the mani after left me with loads of paint on my skin and down the sides of my nail. It was really hard to remove when I went to get my new set of gels.
Absolutely loving the hair, exactly what I imaged I wanted it to be.
2 staff ( the only English talking ones) throughout my 2 hours there offered me a drink hot/cold x2 which I thought was nice. And put a heater by my chair as it was freezing outside that day which was nice and kept me warm.
However, I really didn’t like the fact that all the people in the shop approx 5, had a conversation all in there own language the whole time, no one talked to me. I felt quite unwanted and intruding. Hairdressers are usually chatty to their clients whilst doing hair. Mine didn’t even speak English, which is fine but having a conversation in another language the WHOLE time I just thought was a bit rude. They also didn’t wash any hair brush or other hair equipment from previous clients. I saw loads of hair on a few brushes. One of the hair dryers used on me was taped up with duct tape all around it, so dangerous! And not very professional. The interior was falling apart, plug sockets wonky, dusty, hair on the floor from previous clients (didn’t get sweepers until and hour into my visit), walls not plastered properly. Very small place, seemed very cluttered with mess everywhere. So overall not a professional place, needs work on professionalism and politeness towards clients and make them feel wanted, nevertheless my hair is great!! Thank you.
