I got a last minute appointment at a very low price - you definitely get what you pay for with a cheap but cheerful salon. It wasn’t Val who I saw, it was Luce. It was ok. Her lack of English and my lack of Portuguese led to a very silent room, which can be a bit awkward when getting an intimate wax! I’m not a beautician but I’ve had enough wax’s to know that she wasn’t leaving the wax on for long enough for it to cool and set which meant it was coming off in bits - ouch! My skin was very sore!

Really lovely haircut. Just what I needed and asked for. The male hairdresser who cut my hair was really lovely. I will definitely be back here.

Val was amazing as ever with Hollywood waxing. The nail technician was quite rough in removing gel nail polish and rushed the whole process and did not ask me how long I wanted my toe nails before cutting them. Also, none of my preferred colours were available (even though they offered them as samples), and the technician insisted I get a colour of her choice - which is what I ended with. It's a very friendly and efficient salon but perhaps needs a restocking and training of staff.
