I went for a balayage, I got highlights which was just not what I asked for, and when you spend £200 that's not ideal. Staff is nice but English is not their first language which means that 1) it can be difficult to communicate and 2) it's uncomfortable when everyone speaks a foreign language and you can't understand what they're saying. My stylist repeatedly hurt my scalp but they didn't acknowledge my pain at all nor apologise, despite me telling them a few times. Definitely won't go back
The blow dry and overall look was great, but after having gone home I realised that the haircut was a bit rushed and there were some bits that were different lengths, or tiny bits had been missed. It was just after hairdressers reopened and I think they were in a rush.
The hairdressers are really good here usually and it's great value for London - the only downside is that not everyone speaks English so sometimes it's not easy to communicate exactly what you want, so take a photo with you.
