The venue is lovely, relaxing and quiet. The staff are attentive. My pedicurist unfortunately was not very good at cutting cuticles and dry skin. The dry skin/cuticles on my toes was cut unevenly - you could tell there were parts that weren't cut at all. Maybe she was having a bad day but she seemed like she was in a hurry and was very unfriendly with me ( when I asked her a question about the price for normal polish, she did not respond until I asked the manager there - she did however converse very kindly with the pregnant regular customer sitting next to me :( ) That was okay with me but what wasn't was her painting skills. She did not like to paint the inner corners of my nails - the duty manager took over (who shouldn't have had to because he is only meant to do manicures!), who has excellent painting skills.
In general, I believe for the quality of the service, the price is VERY high. Had the duty manager not interfered, I would have been extremely disappointed that I paid so much for a job I could do myself.
I believe more training can be invested in the staff - things like do not be stingy with cuticle remover because it's cost effective, because if you don't put enough - you could potentially break dry skin and cause bleeding which results in bad customer service. Refreshing manicure and pedicure skills would go a long way!
I would go again for the atmosphere, kind staff, good skills by Fung the duty manager.
