We've been here before and had good treatments but this time it really let us down. I had the gel mani and at the end there was a lot of both clear and tinted gel baked onto the tips of my fingers, 'gluing' the skin to the nail. The lady filed one bit off when I showed it to her but ignored the other bits. My friend's manicure did not have a smooth surface on all the nails and chipped a bit when we went for drinks after. Both ladies were lovely but sadly this has made us both unsure about returning. The manager also asked my lady to get up and fix a nail for a teenager who had come in saying that she had scratched her gel nail and needed it redone. Perhaps the teen was a regular and we weren't, but this felt odd and the manager should have asked me if I were okay with it, rather than making the poor woman apologise to me as it wasn't her decision. Maybe we were considered less important because we were a Treatwell booking, maybe it was a busy Friday afternoon, but as we sat and examined our nails afterwards we didn't think we would be going back.

It was good although didn't think they took that much care about the detail of the gel - it's quite obvious that they are gel nails which is slightly disappointing
