I usually come here for my shellac manicure and I feel the place completely satisfied. However, this time was different. The staff was very friendly as usual but as it was a bank holiday and many women come in without appointments, they did a very quick and not-so-good job as they wanted to serve the other customers that were waiting.
If you go here, do not go on a weekend or a bank holiday, even with an appointment!
Not fantastic.
Wax was good. The mani/pedi experience not so much, the beautician did a good job but the pedicure didn't seem to do much, my feet still felt rough and not moisturised and the rough skin was still left on. The pedicure chair massage functions were off and when I asked the lady shrugged.
The "manager" man was super annoying, went I finished my wax I wasn't shown where the polishes were or why Ines were which (it was my first time to this salon). He seemed more interested in knowing what I would need to pay at the end via Treatwell. I wasn't offered to have my coat / bags hung up until it was clear I was getting frustrated with the lack of customer service. He didn't seem to add any value to the salon, other than walking around to supervise the technicians
I wouldn't return tbh despite the cheap price, I have visited the Clapham South branch and found this much better.
