Arrived for 12.45 appointment and immediately and aggressively asked by male member of staff to see an email as this was a Treatwell booking. Sat for 25 minutes in stuffy and uncomfortable surroundings. Had to leave without manicure. Utter waste of time. First visit to USA nails, although I live locally. Will not be returning.
Waited an hour for a 20 min shellac manicure
Not as pleasant as I expected it to be , they didn't offer the service that I had booked online and payed for and mentioned that it's been a while they don't offer this service .( pink refills) however the manager tried to make up for it but it still wasn't what I'd been there for . I will probably give it one more try.
Great selection of colours and very happy with my manicure! Will book again!
I am quite disappointed and frustrated with my visit in USA star nails. I have booked a delux pedicure and manicure as a service, and lip&chin threading at 16:15. I have arrived at the time of my appointment and was waiting 50 minutes to start my treatment. I did not even have an apology for the delay. I was waiting with my feet in the water, in a broken chair and staff was passing by looking at me smiling at them as a signal to start but they were ignoring me. Finally a young lady arrived, she did not even speak to me and started talking at her colleague in a different language. The "deluxe " pedicure was over in 20 minutes, with me struggling to finish off my toenails as the beautician had to start someone else. I have asked from the manager very politely to resolve this as I was paying a good amount of money for a service I didn't have. The manager apologised and another therapist arrived for my manicure. My fingernails were done better than my toenails however, they didn't even use a cream, massage, anything. I was asked to do the threading before they paint my nails. I agreed. The lady did the treatments I have booked for quite satisfactory, however when I went back upstairs to continue my manicure and paint my nails, the lady who was actually doing them had started with another customer and the girl who did my pedicure painted my nails. The nails lasted an afternoon. When we went there to pay, the manager has asked for cash only -something that is not stated anywhere- and my threading went up from8£ to 16£. The manager gave me as a compensation 20% off our next treatment as a good will gesture but i left the card with him as i very politely stated that I wouldn't come back as i was not satisfied at all. Overall, it was a traumatic experience. They overbook the appointments, the treatments are not to a high standard and instead of compensating by offering something valid they overcharged me. It is such a shame as it is based in Hampstead and as a local resident I do not expect this kind of treatment. Many thanks
