Regular customer. Some staff members are better than others, no surprise. Some hardly speak any English which makes it a tad difficult to communicate even the basics. With 300+ colours to choose from, it's easy to find the right shade of colour but strangely enough, it seems impossible when all you want is a simple clear (!) polish but as Shellac gel as to give the nails the extra hardness and protection. Whats available is either too pink or too white and the pinkish polish especially immediately shows application streaks once you leave the LED lights of the salon - not nice at all. Maybe management will read this and order what must be available from the suppliers: a simple clear see-through Shellac polish for customers like me who sometimes like a manicure and Shellac but NO colour.
I'm a regular visitor at USA Star Nails in Hampstead. This time I made an error at the booking, mixing up September with October when checking my own Thursday availability (the only day I have off work during the week), thus I ended up with a Tuesday appt which I couldn't attend. When I noticed, a day ahead of the wrong appt (and just past the 24hrs rescheduling deadline), I called and was very kindly allowed to simple move my appt to the Thursday, no questions asked. I thought it may cause confusion as my Treatwell booking printout obviously still stated the incorrect date, but no: the manager remembered me calling. Full marks for that. Some other salons would have been a lot less flexible, I'm sure.
