This is my third time at USA star nails. The first time my experience was ok, I had a positive threading experience with a lovely lady, however, a bad nail experience as the woman managed to damage my cuticle.
The second time was horrendous, I'd learnt a lesson about the nails but went in for threading again hoping to get the same lovely lady as last time, however, this time I had a new one. The woman was rude, I asked to get my lip threading and she proceeded to argue that I should only get it waxed, she had no idea what she was doing. She missed half of the hairs, put me through a lot of pain and just generally made me uneasy, she didn't have anything creams to put on after and didn't clean the area beforehand and I left in tears.
For some silly reason I went back, but I was informed that the lady who did my threading the first time was in on the day I needed it. I then commuted all the way having booked my appointment in advance, to only be told they could't actually fit me in until the evening.
Lesson learnt, I was silly to go back and certainly won't again. The manager also wasn't helpful to me. The salon also only accepts cash which I always think is very unhelpful to a customer who's paying a large sum of money and I don't know why they can't get a credit card machine in 2018.
