The closest thing to an American style manicure I have found in London. My gel polish always lasts 3 weeks without chips, unlike other places where chipping starts only a few days later. It is always busy, which shows how popular they are.

I was glad to have found a fairly affordable salon in Hampstead, but was disappointed with the cleanliness of the place: there were oil and dirt smudges and fingerprints on surfaces that obviously hadn't been wiped down in a long time. I also had to wait for my appointment: the manager first said it was because they had just opened, but then changed his story and blamed Treatwell for not informing them of my appointment - even though I had booked well in advance. Found this hard to believe and a bit offputting. The wax itself was fine, but a bit messy and not good enough to counterbalance the oddities and overall experience.
