I've been coming to this salon for a good 5 years now. This time, a new (to me) male staff member did my nails and I'm afraid he did a particularly poor job, Not only was the water for the nail bath icy cold (I asked for him to warm it up but he said it didn't need to be warm), his cuticle work also left lots to be desired. His nail shaping was really good but then his Shellac-application at the end of the treatment was rather terrible. He realised himself and towards the end, removed some layers of two particularly bad nails and reapplied the Shellac polish. Still, when I walked out, I realised that the polish was "crumbled" and not at all nice and smooth as Shellac is supposed to be. But I had a meeting and no time to go back.
Update: I did go back 2 days later as the crumbled polish just didn't looked...well polished. And I must say the manager on call was most helpful, he immediately understood the issue and took it upon himself to not just redo the two worst nails, but he changed all 10, free of charge. Great customer service!
the wax was rather hot, which made it more painful than normal. was okay, not sure I would go again unless I had to.
