I arrived early for the appointment but the staff took me through for my pedicure immediately so no waiting around. The pedicure was done very well. When I showed the staff how I would like my manicure, they appeared confused and started talking and laughing in another language between them. They told me that my nails were not long enough- but I believe that design could have easily been adapted for shorter nails. The design was also rather simple. Anyway, I decided to go for a simple manicure with 20s style cuticle design to make it easier. The manicure itself was lovely and well done but the paint was terrible. It looked like someone had tippexed white blobs on my nails. To make it worse, the staff laughed at them and told me they wouldn't have chosen those colours or designs. I didn't feel great leavings this place! Fine for basic mani and pedi but not for nail art.
Great experience
Atmosphere is not fantastic but the manicure was great. Lots of colour choice and lasted two weeks without chipping, would recommend to a friend.
My gel manicure was great; the choice of colours was good and I loved the shape and finish. However, I booked in advance for Saturday afternoon and had to wait 30 minutes for my appointment. This wasn't a problem as I'd allowed extra time, but I couldn't understand why walk-in's were still being accepted when appointments were running behind. My manicure cost £30 but the treatment only lasted 20 minutes and I would have expected a little more cuticle work and a more relaxed expereince. The salon was packed and I felt very rushed. It's a shame because the work was very good and it's lasted well, but I'm not sure I would go again unless it was a little quieter!
The salon was very busy and clearly popular but still a nice relaxing experience to be sat in the massage chair. The only downside is that you have to get up mid way though to pick your nail colour rather than having the selection wheels brought to you, had I have known I would have picked before.
