I like going here because of the efficient yet friendly service. Could be better if it was cleaner, but if you go there during the morning, the ambience is better and you feel less rushed.
So efficient and lots of colour choices. Would recommend.
I booked an appointment for 10.00 however received a txt the day before to say the appointment was at 11.00 so had to phone and confirm that I needed the appointment to be at 10.00 as booked on the tratwrll app. When I arrived the salon was shut, I waited for 20 minutes before a staff member informed me that the boss who had the keys was stuck in traffic and wouldn't be there till 10.40. I went away and came back as they assured me the appointment would take 20 minutes so I would be finished by 11.00. The appointment finished at half 11 making me late for the rest of the day.
I arrived at my appointment on time but the place was very busy (they obviously take a lot of walk-in trade) and I wasn't seen for another 20 minutes. This was very annoying as I had specifically booked it during my lunch hour and it was only supposed to take 45 minutes. Pre-booked appointments should always be prioritised over walk-ins, the fact that they are not shows that the salon is more interested in money than customer service. The lady who did my nails was obviously the person in charge that day so she kept having to stop to answer the phone, speak to customers in the shop, take payments and talk to other staff - this made me treatment last even longer. It also didn't make me feel like a valued customer. She suggested an alternative colour to the one I had picked by saying that it would have a better outcome, when in fact it was a completely different look - which was a bit annoying - I don't know if the colour I had selected was out of stock, but I should have been asked to pick another one rather than have this "recommendation". Another customer had just had a pedi and was waiting for her mani, but had to leave because she had been waiting so long. The lady doing my nails was trying to rush my treatment to start on hers. When the customer complained, the staff member whispered to her that she was delayed because I was late!!!! I found this incredibly rude, especially since I was on time and was being blamed for their lack of organisation. Even if I had been late it is completely unacceptable to say that about a customer. I've been to this salon a few times and usually have a really good experience, but this time I left feeling insulted, undervalued, with a rushed gel mani (in a different colour to what I wanted!) and late back to work. AWFUL. Either get more staff, or stop taking walk-ins. It's that simple.
Salon could do with a complete clean and overhaul. Am dubious to whether they thin out the products as I have had OPI a few times now and it always bubbles.
