After reading great reviews from this place I decided to go and see for myself. I'm not the sort of gal that gets her nails done very often so I was looking for great service with a smile. I sat down and the assistants laughed at my hands... so what?! I'm a creative lass with very short nails. I wasn't impressed. Unless they were laughing at something else amongst themselves I will never know. I also changed my service as I'm a little indecisive. Apart from that the nail colour choice, the service, the staff and the salon were all really good. The ambience and value was satisfactory.

Unfortunately the cost of the shellac manicure has gone up so find it is no longer good value plus this time round didn’t find my manicure that good.

Not as good as it used to be! I used to love this local salon and would always come for pedicures. But in the last few months the service has changed. Treatments have become really rushed and it’s pot luck whether you get a good experience or not. This visit there was barely any buffing of my feet, no leg massage, nail varnish was left patchy and the treatment was rushed through in just under 40 mins when it’s supposed to be an hour. All of these points have fed this back to the salon directly. It’s a real shame and I’m so disappointed as it was such a gem, but after 4 poor treatments in a row, I won’t be returning.

Good value for money. The place is a bit worn and dated, the basement where the waxing takes place requires a refurb, but the person that did my waxing was great. In end, that is the most important consideration.
