I went to USA Star Nails in Clapham because it is closer to my regular nail salon and I needed to get my acrylic nails removed asap. What a mistake. I was baffled when I was told that my manicure was done, that's how terrible my nails looked. They filed my nails so much, it hurts when I my hands. Unfortunately this site doesn't allow me to share the pictures I took of my nails after I left the salon, because then I wouldn't have to explain everything that was wrong with the treatment I received. I should also add that I was told that a manicure is included when getting acrylic nails removed, yet I ended up paying separately for the "manicure" while I also didn't even chose to get my nails painted. Granted, I could have confronted the staff then and there, but they shouldn't be dishonest in the first place. I hate giving negative feedback and I don't remember writing a bad review ever before, but I hope that sharing my experience will either lead them to improve their service or at least save other customers from a bad experience.

I love the manicure and pedicure they do here - I'm a regular customer. The threading of my eyebrows weren't great, there were lots of hairs left and it wasn't shaped. I had to go elsewhere to get it sorted out the day after. Will definitely be back for nail treatements which is their speciality, and go elsewhere for other beauty treatments.
