The place was not clean - technicians were not wearing gloves (and my technician kept using his own nail to scrape my fingertip and tidy up any mistakes he made with the polish), the paper roll on each table was brushed clean between clients (not replaced), tools were not cleaned between clients (!), the technicians wore dirty aprons and the place felt run down. I went in for a shellac “soak off” but the length of time my nails soaked in acetone was just a few seconds - the technician instead used an electric drill to take off my shellac and in doing so cut my cuticle. My cuticles were not soaked in warm water at all and no tidy up of my cuticles took place. The technician just took off my old shellac, filed my nails down and applied new shellac. The service was cheap for the area which is why I felt I couldn’t complain (nor do I think I would have received better service had I complained at the time) but I won’t be going again. The new shellac polish that was applied looks fine but I just worry my nails and cuticles have been damaged.
Felt a bit rushed but overall treatment was fine. They weren't sure whether I had paid or not and asked about 4 times to see my confirmation email from treatwell before they started and then again after
