I chose a colour. When the manicurist started painting my nails it was a different colour. I told her it was wrong. She said she was going to mix another one on top as the colour I had chosen was a mixture. She finished two coats and started a third coat I told her it would look too thick, she didn't listen. At the end it was too thick and the colour was smudged. I told her I wasnt satisfied but she said next time choose a better colour and just got up and left.

I had a shellac manicure and normal pedicure here - the pedicure was ok but the paint wasn't great, when I got home upon closer inspection I noticed that the old polish hadn't been fully removed and was just painted over, which was quite shoddy.
I had three different therapists do my manicure, the first was doing a great job but got called away, the second was rough, uncommunicative (apart from yawning throughout) and careless; the polish was started so far from my cuticles that it within a couple of days it looks like it's got a week's growth on it, then when the second coat of shellac had been cured it was wrinkled and peeling, which left more work for the third (and apologetic) therapist who took over when the second one got up and left the salon. The third therapist had to recover what she could from the poor job her colleague left me with but the overall effect is now a bit thick and ridged - I had been there so long at this stage that I didn't even bother to ask to have it re-done.
Some other users have said their experience differed depending on which therapist they had and I thoroughly agree, but that uncertainty is so offputting that I wouldn't return - I would have hoped the standard of a salon would be the same across the board, but sadly some very good therapists are being held back by those who seem to find their customers a boring inconvenience.
This really is he best value wax in London. I had a Brazilian hot wax which was quick and relatively painless. I would recommend going on a weekday rather than a weekend.
