Been to Aveda for years - lovely salon. I went to the salon yesterday & specifically said "I had this cut by you 8 weeks ago, it's healthy. I just want to blunt the ends". I showed Josie with my fingers how much I want to cut off - literally half an inch & she agreed.
Why I have come out of the salon with 3 inches or so off?
It was blow dried nicely, nice style, nice girl, but my hair takes a really long time to grow, it obvs can't be "fixed". I'm upset shall we say.

Josie was lovely but I asked her to only cut the very ends of my hair off, the bare minimum and she cut off a large amount of my long hair. In addition to that she cut it unevenly, so that when my hair is over my shoulder, the back is shorter than the front. I don’t understand how that is acceptable and I’m feeling really frustrated that my hair has been cut way shorter than I asked and is uneven. The salon has offered to fix it but that means cutting my hair even shorter. Terrible experience.
