Went in 15 minutes early and got started instantly. Had a very good conversation with the person who attended me and got very helpful advice on how to style my hair. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you are trying to go for a new look and only have vague instructions to give. Left very happy with my hair. 10/10

After having a traumatic hair experience as a child, I have always been scared of having my hair cut. Luckily, whilst at university, I found a hairdresser I loved but I have recently moved back to London and was in desperate need of a real re-style. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of the lady that cut my hair but she was a senior stylist. I had my over 4 inches cut off and styled and a fringe put in. I have had really long hair all my life so was petrified about the change but the hairdresser looked at the inspiration photos I brought in and personalised the look to make sure it suited me. She was lovely, warm and clearly cares about the salon and her customers. All in all, an amazing experience and so glad I have found a hairdresser back at home that I can rely on!

I came into Urban Roots on my lunch break today with scraggy dead ended hair and left with exactly the tidy up cut I wanted!
Senior Stylist Vas worked on my hair and I have to say he's very easy to talk to - certainly gets rid of that whole 'feeling awkward at the hairdressers' thing that happens to us all. I was really happy with the way he understood exactly what I wanted (I find this can be quite rare in hairdressers) and he made me feel comfortable enough so I could say when I had a few tweaks at the end. He was also very sensitive to the fact that I only had an hour for my lunch break and sent me back on time without compromising on quality.
I came into the hairdressers also wanting to purchase a deep conditioning hair product (I usually use Kerestase) but had a good chat with one of the girls their about my specific hair type etc and what would work for me and left not only with a great haircut but a new conditioner to try out too.
All in all I would definitely recommend and will 100% be going back next time I need my hair cut,
