Had better haircuts, had worse, but they try really hard to make sure you walk out satisfied.

Came in for wash, cut, blowdry. Firstly, this is meant to be called Twist salon. I walked up and down the road for five minutes as I couldn't see it anywhere. Turns out, this isn't Twist Salon. It says something like unisex on the front, it doesnt say twist anywhere. Two women working, when I asked if this is twist they said yes and said I can wait on the seats. I did wait, but ended up waiting 20 minutes post appointment time. Obviously while waiting I noted that 1) the salon doesnt entirely look like the pictures 2) theres no real atmosphere or friendliness and 3) it isn't particularly clean - theres noone cleaning up after each haircut. Hadn't even had my haircut and already said to myself next time I'll pay more for a better salon. Haircut was okay, woman was friendly, cant complain. Not much chat but thats fine. Hair done within 45 mins suited me perfectly, then I asked if I could pay by card. She said yes and started getting some sort of machine out then asked if I could pay by bank transfer. I'm not against this, but knew why bank transfer would suit the company. In hindsight I just wish I'd paid through treadwell originally as obviously a transfer isn't recorded. But the haircut was value for money. However I wouldn't return based on the above points.

Nice, relaxed yet very professional environment with lovely staff. Erika's great. Sweet and friendly, and meticulous when it comes to meeting your styling requirements. Can't fault anything. And I'm known for nitpicking...
