I was enticed into this place due to its colourfulness that I could see in the pictures of it online. When I went It topped all expectation, the staff are very down-to-earth and friendly, and you can hold a conversation with them easily. I was extremely happy with the result of my haircut and was surprised that they did men’s facial hair too! Next time I’ll be sure to get everything done as it was fantastic value for money!

I love this place. I think it's great value and the staff have always been really nice and I love their manifesto to make sure it's a welcoming place. It's small but leaves a big impression.

Decent haircut but don’t go here if you want a professional colour result. Dye was dumped straight onto my freshly bleached roots without pre-toning and the lengths of my hair ended up a different colour to the roots; there is still a visible line where my roots were. When discussing this with the owner, she acted like there was nothing wrong and asked what exactly made me “uncomfortable” about the finish and why I didn’t like the “contrast” between the two colours. She even implied that wanting a consistent colour from root to tip was my personal preference rather than a typical expectation, and blamed my previous dye even though it had faded back to blonde and a true expert would have known how to counteract this by simply pre-toning. The proposed solution was just to add more dye to the lengths of my hair, which obviously wouldn’t address the underlying imbalance between the warmer roots and cooler lengths. I will not be going back and unfortunately just need to wait for the colour to fade now. They were willing to correct the issue but I don’t trust their ability to do so and am still shocked that they wouldn’t admit that there was a problem in the first place and even went so far as to suggest my complaint was abnormal.
