This was probably the best hair cut and general salon experience I've had in years. Kfir was polite, calm and friendly. He sat me down with a drink and discussed my requirements and made helpful suggestions based on what I told him. He washed my hair himself in the quieter more relaxing downstairs room and gave me an excellent head massage. The cut is exactly what I asked for and Kfir spent a long time drying my hair with a curl through it. It looked great and was an enjoyable experience. I haven't gone back to the same hairdresser for a repeat appointment in the last five years and usually find getting my hair cut a bit traumatic but this was different. I will certainly be returning, even though the standard prices cost considerably more than the Wahanda offers it's worth every penny. They deserve the reviews they get.

I went for a regrowth touch up with Toni again. As always he was really really good. Will go again soon!

Hair cut was what I asked for, they were very friendly, apologised for running late even though it was only 5 minutes and gave me a cup of tea.

A pretty mixed experience, to be honest. The salon is beautiful and I found there is a friendly, relaxed feeling. I also appreciated the fact that there was low-key music rather than booming, high-tempo stuff. I was offered magazines several times, and drinks (though I have to say the coffee was not the best I've had - I suspect it may have been instant), which was appreciated. I didn't, however, love my haircut. The Director did my hair, and I felt like he was one of the hairdressers who was just going to do what he thought was best, no matter what you wanted. Not ideal. My hair ended up quite a bit shorter than I wanted it to be, and different, and the way he styled it at the end was awful - I wanted loose curls/waves and volume created with a round brush, and instead he used tongs to create stiff ringlets. I've not walked out of a salon looking like that since the early 1990s. To be fair, I didn't complain at the time because I thought it was OK and the curls would drop out, but as I walked down the street with my Shirley Temple 'do', I hoped I wouldn't run into anyone I know! I'm also not thrilled with my colour, which looks pretty flat. I wanted to love this experience - the salon is terrific, the prices are good, the location is perfect - but I'm not sure I'd take a chance again. It was just a bit disappointing, and I don't like feeling that someone doing my hair won't actually listen to what I want.
