Qualified in holistic massage in 2003, gained further qualifications in BSc (hons) and medical acupuncture in 2017/18 respectively. Further certification in grade 5 thoracic and lumbar manipulation, k-taping and taping for sports.
Yani graduated Plymouth University in 2017 with a BSc in Physiotherapy. She spent her early years in the Buckinghamshire NHS Trust completing general rotations including spending time at the National Spinal Cord Injury unit, trauma and orthopaedics and musculoskeletal patients. During the COVID-19 pandemic she spent time working as a respiratory Physiotherapist in intensive care and then in rehabilitation. Her time in private practice began in 2017 with a hiatus during the pandemic and then started private practice again in 2021. Yani spends most of her winter weekends with a rugby team since 2017 and is now currently Team Lead Physiotherapist for Belsize Park Rugby Club. She is a keen long distance athlete and has completed a few triathlons and the London Marathon. Thus her interests involve treating sporting injuries or overuse injuries and mechanical back or neck pain. Yani treats with a holistic and goal orientated approach and uses a combination of pilates and mobility exercise with personalised evidence based exercise programmes.
Matt is an ITEC certified Massage Therapist with a background in Hospitality, Leisure, Travel and Wellness in a luxury setting, so he has an eye for high levels of service. As a Swimming Instructor, he is also use to assessing his Client’s movement in order to re-correct technique and increase performance. Having assisted clients for more than 7 years, Matt is use to working with a varied background of individuals who are all seeking different results. Using a blend of traditional and contemporary techniques, Matt’s aim is to ensure that you have a restorative and relaxing experience. With his understanding of Anatomy and Physiology, he’ll provide clear after-treatment care that promotes longevity. If you have a build-up of tension or you are experiencing discomfort, Matt will make it his mission to hone in on these areas and resolve any issues."
