I am usually always happy with this salon however this time round my gel nails were rushed. I had to wait quite a bit before someone took care of me.

This was absolutely the worst nail treatment I have ever experienced. I was getting nail extensions (which my treatwell booking indicated would be 1 hour), I arrived about 20 minutes early and the lady sat me down and very hurriedly started taking my nail varnish off and gluing the extensions incredibly quickly so that there was glue all over my hands. There was no manicure to speak of, she straight away started putting the acrylic on. She started filing and buffering my nails so aggressively that it was really hurting me, I had to pull my hand away a few times and tell her she was hurting me but she just kept telling me to relax. I asked her to file my nails round but she kept doing them square, and each time I asked her to do them round she rolled her eyes and went back over the nail so aggressively that it hurt so much, so I stopped asking her. The result was that every nail was shaped completely differently. She did 2 coats of nail varnish as soon as she had finished filing and did not give me a chance to wash my hands, the result was loads of loads of file dust in my nail varnish. She plonked me down on the dryers and started working on the next client, all in all she spent less than half an hour on me and considering I was 20 minutes early, she had clearly double booked for the next client and was just rushing me through. My nails hadn’t dried properly but I had to just get out ASAP, a pretty shocking and painful experience! Never ever again. I’m only sad I paid in advance through treatwell, otherwise I wouldn’t have paid at all.

I went to this salon for a Shellac removal and then a manicure with normal varnish. When I arrived it was chaotic and nobody seemed to have record of my booking. The salon is not a pleasant environment - the entrance is through a launderette and then it is hot and looks very basic. It also did not look very clean. The shellac removal was fine but the manicure very poor - my cuticle were not attended to properly, and the varnish was applied sloppily. A few cuticles are flooded with varnish, and a few nails have air bubbles in where the varnish was applied too thickly without letting the previous layer dry. You can see where the top coat is sitting on top of the colour. Overall it looks scruffy and not at all professionally done. I won't be returning.
