I have been going to Toni & Guy salons for years and have never had a problem..... Until I went to Clapham junction Toni&Guy
Not only did they not achknoledge me when I entered but no drinks were offered and they just plonked me down on a very uncomfortable sofa for about 30 minutes. Wondering if I was ever going to be seen. When asked to speak to the manager I was told you are speaking to her with a look that could kill. Her name was Nicole and I have to say I have never been spoken to and looked at in such a way by someone that is suppose to be professional. The tone in which she spoke actually frightened me to say that I wasn't happy with her level of service so I just sat back down and said never mind. I wonder what it would be like to work under her rule!
The haircut itself was ok, nothing to write home about and certainly not worth waiting 30 minutes and being spoken to in that way for.
When I came to pay, I was served again by Nicole who was very sarcastic with me and gave great joy in taking my money with a sneering smile. It was ridiculously overpriced and I would never expect to pay that kind of money for that kind of service and cut.
The overall look of the salon is dated and, having worked in health and safety before, is full of violations.
