Honestly, I can’t recommend TLUX enough! I’ve been getting my nails done for around 10 years and I can genuinely say this is the BEST nail shop I have ever been to. I went to the TLUX in the city centre next to Princes Quay and I was honestly so impressed from start to finish.
The guy who did my nails on Sunday afternoon was absolutely lovely. He was so attentive throughout the whole appointment and constantly made sure I was happy with everything. He didn’t just rush through the appointment and send me on my way, he actually took the time to check that I was happy with the shape, length and everything else before carrying on. You could genuinely tell that he cared about making sure I left happy, and that makes such a difference.
The quality of my nails is also amazing. The shape is perfect, they’re so neat and the finish is exactly what I wanted. I’m quite particular about my nails because I’ve been getting them done for 10 years, so I’ve been to A LOT of different nail shops and I notice the little things. I honestly couldn’t fault them.
He was also SO kind and went above and beyond for me. He noticed that I needed a little bit of acrylic on my baby toe and actually did it for me for FREE, which I really didn’t expect at all. It was such a small thing but honestly meant so much because it showed that he genuinely wanted to help rather than just doing the bare minimum.
And then to top it all off, he gave me a hand massage for FREE after doing my nails and it was honestly soooo nice. I’ve never had someone go out of their way like that at a nail appointment. It was such a lovely little extra and made the whole experience feel so much more relaxing and enjoyable.
The customer service was honestly 10/10. He was so friendly, patient and welcoming, and I never felt rushed or like I was being difficult for asking for something to be changed. He made sure I was happy throughout the whole experience, which is exactly what you want when you’re paying to have your nails done.
I’ve been to so many nail shops over the years and I genuinely think I’ve finally found somewhere I’ll keep coming back to. The location is perfect as well, right in the city centre next to Princes Quay, so it’s really convenient.
If you’re thinking about trying TLUX, DO IT! Especially if you’re picky about your nails like me 😂. I left so happy with my nails and the whole experience was honestly just lovely. The nails are beautiful, the service is amazing and the little extra touches made such a difference.
