I went yesterday (March 2012), I was told by the Salon itself, 2 hours of pampering, wrap you in mud, pedicure and massage. I had very thin mud on my arms and legs, a pedicure with no massage or scrub, (just file), a shower that burnt me, a massage which was nice but with the wet towel I dried myself with, all in an amazing 50mins!! The therapists said she did but mud on my back, I know she didn't, it really was not worth complaining about. I want a Salon I can happily go to very quarter to pamper and this place it not worthy!! I had to walk half way home since my husband thought he had 2 hours to do the grocery shop and so we both had been cut short.
I thought the facial was really good it made my skin feel fresh afterwards. The therapist applied a lot of products during the facial and she seemed like she she knew what she was doing. However the room that they conduct the treatments in does need a bit of a makeover it did not have a very relaxing atmosphere. However overall I was happy with the treatment.
I had a lovely therapist take good care of me- the only reason I've given ambience 2*s is due to the fact that the radio was playing throughout half of my facial- it was only when the therapist realised midway that she changed it.
The facial was excellent- my skin looked and felt really good after.
This was a very enjoyable and relaxing experience which made me feel like a million dollars The therapist was very helpful by giving me advice about my dry skin The massage was lovely I would defiantly go back again
I purchased the Wahanda deal for a dermalogica facial with scalp and hand massage. The salon is very busy and cluttered downstairs with no room for movement and upstairs is the treatment room where facials are carried out and this is in need of decoration.
I believe treatment rooms should portray a relaxing mood however the room was cold and had no ambience.
The facial was meant to be 60 minutes and although my appointment was for 12 by the time the therapist came to get me and take me upstairs it was 1215 before she got started and finished at 1250? She then asked me to make my way downstairs once I was ready. I mentioned to her down on reception that the treatment was inclusive of a scalp and hand massage to which she replied as they have that many deals on with KGB, Groupon and Wahanda they can't keep up. I explained surely this would be the responsibility of the receptionist to make sure she books the relevant treatment depending on the deal purchased and notify the therapist before the next client arrives.
Only upon pursuing this with her for 5 minutes did she then agree to take me back upstairs and only carry out the hand massage. I was a bit disappointed to say the least, although the facial treatment itself was bliss, the service and lack of full treatment purchased leaves alot to be desired.
