Gel Nails Manicure
Fantastic! Girl was very professional - quickest and most painless job I have ever had! Wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. There was a small issue with the threader being stuck in traffic when we arrived however we were offered alternate treatments to make up for it, and as it turned out she arrived with enough time to do both of us booked in anyway. Will definitely go again and recommend to others.
Facial Threading
This was my first time at the Wax Bar and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The girl took me in as soon as I arrived, despite arriving early. She had a chat with me about the shape and from how passionately she spoke about eyebrows I was instantly reassured that I wouldn't come out with awful thin lines!
I can be a bit of a wuss when it comes to waxing but this was almost pain free! I find plucking to be the worst part but either she was so gentle I didn't feel it or she was so accurate with the wax that she didn't need to pluck! Instead of plucking she trimmed some of the hairs which helped give my eyebrows a really great, tidy shape.
I'd definitely recommend the Wax Bar and now I know it exists I'll definitely be back!

Appointment was hurried and member of staff thought it was eyebrow threading instead of lip, more attention to detail would make the whole experience more pleasurable.

The Wax Bar is by far the best salon in Edinburgh. I have been going there since it first started up years ago and would never dream of going anywhere else. Nicole and the girls are so friendly and the service you receive is beyond excellent. The most painless waxing I have ever had, and fantastic nail bar too. They are always offering a wide range of treatments and also stock lots of amazing products in the salon, making it a one stop shop for everything! Always accommodating to last minute requests, the Wax Bar is the perfect visit!
