My partner and I booked a couples Swedish massage, both massage therapists were so lovely and ensured we were happy throughout the treatment. The pressure was great and we felt much more relaxed after our treatment, we have rebooked and are looking forward to our next treatment! Thank you!

Arrived late, so didn't get the whole hour but got about 40mins. As far as the technique of the massage - great! Savannah really knew her stuff and released some knots I had as well as doing a nice job with my hands which nearly put me to sleep. She trained in Zimbabwe and you can tell she has a very natural touch.
My only issue with the massage was that I was only massaged on my back and a bit on the hands and arms. My partner is a massage therapist so I know it's possible to include the neck and legs in 40mins as well. Everything connects so by including the legs and neck the patient benefits a great deal.
Cleanliness was to a good standard, including the restroom.
Ambience in the treatment area was great, curtains drawn with low level ambient music playing in the background provided a perfect setting to switch off and unwind. As you enter the building, however, you feel as though you've entered a BnB. Felt very odd and not relaxing at all! There are at least a dozen pictures of the owners Grandmother all bunched together on the wall which doesn't do well for a good first impression. I was told that she wanted to have her own tea room and I get that the owner is honouring her but perhaps this could be done in another way, maybe naming the tea shop after her? Otherwise it feels like an episode of 'Hotel Hell'.

My husband and I had a couples massage which was bought for us as a christmas present. The staff were friendly, the spa was lovely and the overall ambience was great. Gemma did my massage and was brilliant and worked really well on a few problems areas that I have and gave good advice on how to help myself at home. We both upgraded to the hot stones massage and absolutely loved it.
