The spa was busy owing to a large booking for a hen party. As a result, there was no space in the main relaxation room for any other customers. Saturdays are expected to be busy, however I was unimpressed that the spa was not able to offer the ambiance and relaxing atmosphere that I had experienced on many occasions prior due to the large group booking. Perhaps the spa should limit their bookings to customers if they have reached full capacity for the day. I certainly would not have booked for that day if I had known that there was a large booking at that time. I was also taken off to what looked like a spare treatment room, with sounds of clanking pipes and bright lights. Usually the rooms are dimly lit with calming music. This was not the case for me. Unfortunately on this occasion I felt that I did not get value for my money and won't be returning anytime soon. Very disappointed.

We checked in on Tuesday afternoon and were expecting a 1 night Arabian themed stay which the pictures suggested would have a beautiful theme in both the spa and accomodation. Unfortunately the entrance to our room was through a side door next to a car park and the pool was actually part of a connected leisure centre. I asked the spa if we would be allowed to use the steam room/ any facilities in the Arabian themed area which does have the ambiance, but was advised to kindly use the leisure centre facilities for the Tuesday as our scrub and steam was booked for the Wednesday (only available day). For the price paid, we would not suggest using this if you’re looking for a relaxing Arabian experience. The room was very disappointing as while it was large, the interior decor felt very dates and two star (small tv with no HDMI port, lino in the bathroom), with no air conditioning, which made sleeping in the intense heat this summer very difficult. The spa was fantastic on Wednesday with a fabulous theme and lovely service however once once again we had to have put scrubs individually so this was not really a couples experience unfortunately. I would recommend the spa however only if you're ok with splitting up for your treatment. No air conditioning in room No Arabian theme in room Leisure centre pool to use King Bed Room on ground floor next to car park
