I booked this for my friends birthday, we had an amazing time! The staff were lovely and really looked after us, nothing was too much hassel for them. The spa facilities were beautiful, it was a glorious day so we spent the first couple of hours sat on the decking outside the pool area on one of the relaxation loungers. The thermal suite was something I hadn't experianced before and was nice. The jaquzzi was the best for me. It had individual seats and jets and section you can lay down on, as well as two shower jets which act as massage jets on your back and neck. Overall experiance was amazing and would not think twice about going back.
Oh. My. Goodness. By far the best spa I have ever been to. The place was beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was huge by spa standards and so well equipped. We had the mud rasul, which wasn't cheap at £60 for the two of us was NOT cheap, but was really good. My skin feels so smooth this morning.
I thought it was a fantastic evening and would highly recommend it to anyone. It was all the little touches that mattered such as poolside service of drinks. We had the 2 course dinner which was a starter and main course. I had this and it was delicious however my sister isn't a huge fan of what she calls "fancy food" and didn't want the starter so they allowed her to have a dessert instead without charging. We were unable to take part in any treatments. We did ask when we arrived but they were fully booked. A brilliant experience
Five star spa. Got an amazing deal on Wahanda for my mum and I, which included a mud rasul treatment. We had a coffee in the lounge on arrival and then a tour of the facilities. We went on a weekday so it was nice and quiet and we even had the place to ourselves at times. The therapist was lovely and we had lots of fun covering ourselves in the rasul - we even had some left over which we were able to take home with us in the little pots and a waterproof bag. Beware its cold water only in the rasul steam room, but thankfully there's a hot shower also. The bag we were given to take home had a map of the spa in which we could have done with being given on arrival as our treatment was at the end of the day and it would have saved us tracking down the location of the toilets! The relaxation room was heavenly, but only had four beds which was fine for us as again we had this to ourselves, but might not be so good for groups. The pool is huge, with a jacuzzi spa pool area with massage shower jets at one end. The spa facilities include aroma steam room, ice fountain, salt chamber, sauna and experience showers and as the spa is brand new these were all tip top. There are also four heated beds and more loungers poolside and a lovely outdoor area which would be fab for a spot of sunbathing in the summer. We had a late lunch at the end of our day and the food really was delicious - by far the best I've had on a spa day to date (and I'm a seasoned regular!). We had a chicken and avocado sandwich, a prawn sandwich, fries and a starter sized orange and avodaco salad to share. We absolutely loved this spa, so much so that I've got another trip planned here in a few weeks. There are two things to note, one that the treatment and relaxation rooms are accessed from the pool area through the lounge/restaurant area, which in itself is not a problem but when there are men having a business lunch in there it did feel quite strange strolling in and out in a dressing gown! I'm sure once the hotel reopens it will only be spa and gym users in the restaurant. The second, which goes for any spa really is that there will be times when children are using the pool - there was a private swimming lesson towards the end of our day although we were in the relaxation area at the time and only came into contact with the group in the changing room so i couldn't say how noisy it might have been! I imagine it can be quite busy at weekends. All in all I cannot recommend this spa enough. Its just fabulous!
Booked it as a gift for friend who deserved a nice break away from her little kids. It was a nice place to chill out, quiet the day we went. My friend tried the fish pedicure and said it was a little ticklish and did make her feet feel softer but wasn't sure she would do it again. My facial was good but could do with a little more massage. Overall I would come again but only with a deal!
