Hotel staff were all very friendly. We had a good laugh with the majority.
The room decor was grand, if only a little dated. The view unfortunately was over a gravel courtyard and wall. My friend and I had a giggle about the ‘view’ and weren’t that bothered as it was more about meeting up etc but with a little effort (some flower baskets, pots, benches etc) it could be much better. Definitely worth an investment, as it is always nice to have something to look at. If I had of been away with my husband on a romantic break, I would have been disappointed.
Spa was fab, very busy though and massages were great.
I really liked the restaurant decor and style. The food, was good, but perhaps a little over priced if you were paying the normal rate. (A cup of tea was £5). I would have preferred it a little warmer too. Breakfast was very good.
