Lovely hotel and spa. Very good value. A few minor things could be improved; the radiator in the bathroom was permanently on, it smelled and the bin didn't open, the pillows were uncomfortable.
The spa was missing a Jacuzzi and outdoor area, which would have made the experience even better.
April's fool day! the hotel was centinaly a joke of a stay! Was suppose to be relaxing pick me spa break for a friend, he room was dirty! a members of staff laughed in my face, their was an item of laundry left In her room let's just say brown bits all over. Strong smell of weed in hotel room, Windows don't open, steam room was more damp and smelt of mould, spa treatments they had messed up. And finally was then told breakfast was not included in our stay I had shown email of booking. Staff just need to be trained properly lack of customer care and wellbeing not disabled friendly at all.

Overall our stay was very pleasant. The hotel is beautiful and has a lot of character. The room was a good size and was clean. The pool was ok and has a sauna and steam room. The spa was lovely; it has a very relaxing atmosphere and the facial was amazing! The restaurant food was also very good with lots of choice.
The only downside was that the staff seemed under-trained and quite unnecessarily flustered.

We went for a one night spa break at Alveston Manor hotel. The location of hotel is close to the centre of Stratford apon Avon and for that reason it is perfect, very convenient for sightseeing. However the center where the spa treatment rooms are located is actually just a regular fitness club with a pool, steam room and sauna. Therefore while half an hour massage treatments we received were nice, we didn't like pool area at all, as it was not very clean, was noisy and full of people. So we actually decided to go for a walk around town instead of spending time by chlorine smelling noisy pool. To sum up I would not advice to go to this hotel just for a spa break, as it has very poor spa facilities in my opinion. But if you are looking for a place to stay in Stratford apon Avon, then it is ok. Rooms are a bit tired looking but pleasant enough to stay in. Breakfast is OK, but was very busy and they didn't have enough staff to serve properly all the guests.
