The Spa at The Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotel & Spa part of Macdonald Hotel & Resorts

The Spa at The Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotel and Spa is the perfect place for you to lose your stress and invest in yourself. Using Elemis and Jessica products you are sure to relax in one of our six treatment rooms and be pampered by our professionally trained therapists. The Spa offers six superb treatment rooms, along with a candlelit relaxation suite and is a great place to unwind and release the stresses and strains of a hectic lifestyle.

Set in its own grounds but only a few minutes walk from Stratford town centre, the Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotel is one of the finest bases from which to explore the area. The original hotel comprises a beautiful Tudor building with many authentic features, whilst the gardens boast an ancient Cedar Tree under which, rumour has it, the first performance of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' was given.

Beautiful old Tudor mansion that while being close to the town centre still retained an element of tranquillity.

Our weekend spa break was wonderful. Great staff, food and spa facilities. I have been in slightly better relaxation rooms but have also been in much worse.

It was a lovely afternoon, although I would have liked a Jacuzzi, but that's just me being picky.

Spa.

Great staff, great treatment. Paid for myself and a friend. Friend had a masseuse that spoke the entire time. Maybe offer a silent version?

Sauna and steam room. Filthy. Relaxation room? An absolute joke. Chairs and foot stalls a kettle - fancy.

Don't advertise as a spa when it's a leisure centre with a treatment room

Very disapointed in this

Luckily the Restaurant made up for it. Amazing staff. Really personable. Food was average. Not that hot but your staff made up for that.
-a bit far from the spa facilities
Walking through winding corridors with very bad signage.

In conclusion spa staff great, leisure centre staff very poor, hotel/restaurant staff amazing.

Would visit for the that.
Would advise as many as possible that this is a leisure centre at best.

Loved the massage, bedroom, hotel grounds and the 3 course dinner was fab!! Pool was too cold though for a spa!
