Firstly after booking an overnight stay with a treatment included I opted for a full body massage. Whilst the massage was a good one the massage was not using Elemis products which was one of the reasons I chose the hotel. My daughter and I went along for a spa day with overnight stay but didn't get value for money in our opinion. The hotel was tired, there was a mix up with room keys and had to go back to the Reception many times. Our room wasn't ready so were given another room. The breakfast the next morning was a shambles with lots of people complaining as we were waiting a long time for tea and coffee, no butter for the toast, eggs and bacon running out. One of the staff commented he hated Mondays !! Just not what a guest wants to hear. The Manager was also useless in that he took on board the complaints, but hid behind the desk then nothing was done.

A great weekend! The hotel is beautiful, quiet and efficiently run. Except for one glitch over booking our afternoon tea everything went smoothly, and the staff were very helpful. The spa is a good place to relax, the gym is well equipped and the pool is good. Being close to the centre of Stratford Upon Avon was also an advantage - it's an easy stroll into town. We will definitely return.

very friendly staff, they were a little busy because there was a wedding on so we had to chase for things at dinner and breakfast but they were so lovely we didn't mind. The only thing the hotel is lacking is a jacuzzi in the spa facilities

The treatments my mum and I had were good, and the afternoon tea was excellent. All staff were friendly and helpful. However, the hotel let it down. We booked a spa break, and the room we were given had a plumbing issue: the toilet flushed only twice during our stay, and the bathroom smelt of drains. The beds were comfortable and clean. However, the room walls were very dirty, and the soap holder above the bath hadn't been cleaned. The sink was also badly cracked. I don't know if you are given poor rooms because it was a deal, but I would certainly not return, nor recommend it.
