Treatments were okay, facilities clean but very basic. No lounge area in the spa and few lounge beds by the very noise pool. Could all do with reservation. Poor afternoon tea, difficult to find the venue and no offer to be shown where it was, no staff there when we arrived to be seated, no table ready when someone did turn up to seat us, rushed service.
I booked a spa stay, the spa day and overnight stay were great. Food was lovely. Downsides were the restaurant staff were frosty and could do with some better customer service training and more attentiveness- esp the breakfast staff.
Spa was fantastic, staff amazing - afternoon tea element completely let it down but we didn't let this tarnish the great day we'd had at the spa.
The spa area was very noisy due to the Jacuzzi and there was very limited space around the pool to relax if you are having a spa day. The staff were extremely helpful and our back massages were great. I would have liked to have planned when to have my massage and afternoon tea myself and it was not ideal to have a massage after the tea. The grounds were lovely.
Great Spa located in a beautiful hotel. The spa is located in a separate building at the back of the hotel and has a wonderful ambiance. We had booked the package that included lunch and the food was AMAZING. You did have to go into the main hotel to have lunch but as the restaurant was empty that day we didn't feel at all uncomfortable sitting there in our bathrobes. The Facilities were good with a pool, jacuzzi, steam room & sauna. Treatments were very good we had a back massage and a facial. The whole day flowed smoothly and I was just sad it had to end. I would highly recommend this spa for a relaxing escape from the real world.
