Maite was absolutely wonderful and really worked deeply into my troublesome tissue! I felt super relaxed, whilst feeling that there was enough pressure on my back. I always find it difficult to get a massage with firm pressure and Maite was great at applying that firm pressure that I desired! The place was lovely and I could just lie there and relax without feeling the need to talk, which is always what I want!

I went to the Soma Room because I've been experiencing pain in my neck and shoulders from stress and sitting at a computer desk all day. I appreciated being able to fill out the health questionnaire online and it was nice that personal preferences were taken into account, such as music and temperature of the room. My therapist made me feel at ease and concentrated on releasing the muscle tension. She had clearly read my online form and the treatment was very targeted. I had zero pain at the end of the 45 minutes which amazed me. Everyone may not respond in the same way but I walked out of there on air and will definitely go back if the issue returns. I think going somewhere that specialises in massage makes all the difference.
I came to The Soma Room when I was pregnant, and found my treatments here from Maite and Naomi hugely beneficial. The therapists really know their stuff and everything is designed to relax you and put you at ease, including large sheets and blankets to lie under, and heated massage beds which were heavenly! I was given some good advice on how to manage my back pain as my pregnancy progressed, and felt that they really cared about giving me what I asked for each time I came in. The decor is lovely and welcoming too!
