Really disappointed with the service, staff didn't seem to know what they were doing and at some points the treatment was just plain weird! Not the usual Hilton standard unfortunately.

My daughter and I had a fabulous spa day last week. It was our first visit to a spa but we were immediately put at ease by Nicola and Gemma, who were both very friendly, lovely girls. We both had a neck, shoulder and back massage and I also had a foot cocoon, whilst my daughter had a facial. Our treatments were brilliant , very relaxing and each one lasted the full half hour. We could not have enjoyed our treatments more. We enjoyed it so much that we rebooked asking again for Nicola and Gemma to carry out our treatments. The male manager who took our booking was also friendly and helpful. The only small negative comment I could make was that the 'goody bag filled with elemis samples' we were promised if we 're-booked on the day, wasn't quite as described. It in fact contained 4 tiny sachets (2 or 3 mls) and one schwarzkopf hair product. That said we have no regrets about 're booking and look forward to our next appointments with Nicola and Gemma, who were both 1st class.

Booking the appointments with The Ocean Rooms Spa was simply and straight forward. When we arrived and checked in at reception we were asked to fill out a form and asked to confirm what treatments we had booked. My mother and sister in law had both books the thai foot and leg therapy and I had a neck, back and shoulder massage. I couldn't fault my massage as I've never had one before. On the other hand my mother and sister in law were extremely disappointed with their treatment. They were taken into a treatment room together and asked what the treatment was they had book, the therapists then left the room. When they returned they ask again what the treatment was and what the treatment involved as they didn't know. My mum asked what they usually do and they said they only usually do back massages so in the end up all they got was a normal leg massage, which wasn't what they had asked for. treatments shouldnt be offered if they can't be carried out. After the treatments were finished we went on to use the spa facilities. I found these to be basic for a Hilton. Small swimming pool which had swimming lessons on so an area was roped off. There is a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi

This deal was excellent value for money. The therapist was very friendly and the hot stone massage was great.
I would go again and recommend it to a friend.

Although the facial was really good the rest of the spa experience was far from impressive. For a hilton hotel spa it was shockingly dirty. The changing rooms floor was filthy, littered, the jacuzzi had a dirty floor......just ruined the "spa" experience.
Will NOT be returning.
