I paid a massive sum to essentially have my nails fall of the next day. The person doing my nails asked me at every stage if I liked them, which is fantastic and considerate but didn’t execute on my feedback. 3 days later, the nails have cracked and peeled off. That’s quite unfortunate. I wouldn’t return here or I would use a different technician.
I have been a customer in this venue for years, and whilst I never felt the kind of warmth I expect from being a regular (have always had that with the places I visit regularly), The Nail Garden has been my top choice for years due to the cleanliness of the place and the quality of service. Or so it was. Over the last 6 months to a year, there have been changes in staff, so after a booking with an inexperienced nail technician assigned despite me booking with a specific person, I always paid attention to whom I book with and in my last visit also mentioned the person I chose when booking, only to be ignored and assigned to another inexperienced technician. This happened at least 3-4 times now and while I understand new people require training, this should not come at the expense of the customer. This is not the customer experience I seek when I book a certain person at a certain time, at a venue with prices on the higher side. I’ve politely requested for them to stick to the booking I’ve made without success (mentioned the name I booked with twice and was sat down with someone else that’s new). Last 2 manicures I had, with the booking experience and discrepancy in the person assigned to me as explained, my nails started chipping in a week. Sadly they have lost me as a customer, there are alternatives around with a friendlier service where I feel more welcome and get a better quality result.•over 3 years ago
